What can I say? I was discouraged when I wrote my last post so I went and worked out later that afternoon. Well I had a great but exhausting P90X work-out and then took a walk to my mom's to weigh myself for the first time in over a week. Well wouldn't you know it, I lost weight. I couldn't believe it and kept getting back on the scale to see if it was telling me the truth. It was evidently because I went back the next day and I weighed the same. So I guess I was being a bit too hard on myself. I actually had my husband take some pictures of me to so I could have some "before" and "after" pictures for myself. That was a nice wake-up call too. I can do this!!!
My only set back at the moment is being sick. I will work hard on my diet this week especially with it being the last full week before the "official" weigh-in. Good luck everyone and I hope I get well soon enough to kick some butt!!!

The most encouraging thing that I have ever read said to follow an 80/20 rule. You can't always control life (nor do you always feel like it face it we do have pms) but that if you follow your diet 80% of the time, than that gives you 20% of the time when life gets in the way and you can still lose weight. I mean face it, every once in a while you are going to have a bad day, or go out to eat with family or a friend and just as much as we don't want to be obsessed with eating, we don't want to be obsessed with not eating!!! Hope that you have a great week!!!!
Good job on the loss and the before pics. my before pics are hidious but i know that when i've got the after pics to put next to them i'll be glad i've got them.
