Moving along

I have been doing pretty good this week and am pretty proud of myself for abstaining from so many temptations. I am grateful that I have been patient with myself so I can learn to control cravings and life's hassles. I love what I have done for me but know that I couldn't have gotten this far without the help of all the girls in this competition.
I am stressed and busy but putting the right things first and that is paying off. Putting me and my family and my spirituality are some things that have made my transition to healthy a little bit easier. My husband is a support but not following my healthy ways which is okay because I am doing this for me and not anyone else.
Today I was stressed and tired and sore and mad that I hadn't worked out yesterday and was about to just eat a bunch of my son's Halloween candy but instead ran out of the kitchen to my room and got ready to run, which I did. Today I ran 4 miles and it felt okay other than the blister that developed. My feet are still getting used to all this exercise and I am going to have to adjust my running to take care of them.
I hope everyone else is doing well. I am looking forward to this next weigh-in!

Way to go Sarah!! If your feet are hurting, look into new shoes. Get them fitted in an actual running store. Great shoes make a huge difference.

Holy cow girl...looking forward to the weigh in! aahhh...I am not sharing your love for the scale! Ha! Glad to know the changes are being made and that you are feeling good about life. I miss hanging out as much. I ditto Kari, you should plan to run with us once she moves. We'll probably do a long run on Sat. mornings together. Some NOT as long as others!!! :)
Love ya!
